RxBuddy does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Your information stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
Overview
RxBuddy ("the App") is designed with your privacy as a top priority. We believe your health information is deeply personal, and we have built our app to ensure that we never have access to it.
Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, access, or store any of the following:
- Your medication names, dosages, or schedules
- Your medication history or adherence data
- Your personal information (name, email, etc.)
- Your device identifiers or location
- Any analytics or usage data
Data Storage
All data you enter into RxBuddy is stored in two places:
- On your device: Your data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's secure SwiftData framework.
- In your iCloud: If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs to your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted and accessible only to you through your Apple ID.
We have no ability to access, read, or retrieve any data stored on your device or in your iCloud account.
Third-Party Services
RxBuddy does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud for optional data synchronization, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Notifications
RxBuddy uses local notifications to remind you about your medications. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to our servers or any third party.
Data Security
Your data benefits from the security measures built into iOS and iCloud:
- On-device data is protected by your device passcode and iOS encryption
- iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Optional Face ID or Touch ID protection within the app
Children's Privacy
RxBuddy does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
